Bray Wyatt, top WWE star, refuses to work with Bray Wyatt

WWE may list Bray Wyatt in SmackDown as the top babyface act, but Brock Lesnar declined the chance to work with the supernatural superstar.

This is per Fightful Selection – and it comes as part of an update to Brock’s creative.

According to some reports, Bray was mentioned as a possible Wrestlemania 39 opponent for Lesnar shortly before Elimination Chamber 2023 (18 Feb). Although Lesnar did not mention the reason, he decided to scrap the idea.

Brock will now be facing Omos at Mania. Fightful points out that WWE does have a backup option, but it has not been included in current plans. According to WrestleVotes Lesnar gave the okay for the clash. Vince McMahon pushed through the match. Fightful could not confirm the report but sources close to Brock suggested it “could possibly be true”.

Wyatt will face Bobby Lashley at Wrestlemania. Lesnar is out of the picture. Bray had previously challenged Lesnar and Lashley in the Elimination Chamber 2023 match. Bobby “won” the bout technically, but he was disqualified.

Since losing to Wyatt at Royal Rumble2023 (28 January), Bray’s last opponent was LA Knight.
